These sessions are meant to unfold in the beloved corners of your home—your light, your rhythms, your real life. No need to tidy, plan matching outfits, or script the day. I’ll guide gently where needed, but the beauty is already there.
This offering is especially suited for newborn sessions, early postpartum days, or simply the everyday intimacy of life with your children.
Documentary in style, these images are a record of connection: feeding, holding, resting, witnessing.
My role is to carry the camera. Yours is simply to be present.

Maternity & Postpartum Photography

A quiet witness to the becoming.
This offering includes both a maternity session and a postpartum session (newborn or early motherhood), photographed weeks or months apart. It’s designed for those who want to document the threshold of motherhood not just as a single moment, but as a slow unfolding.
One session might take place outdoors, the other in your home. Or both in the same room, changed only by time. We’ll let the seasons of your life guide the setting.

These sessions are creative collaborations made through a phone lens—proof that connection doesn’t require closeness, and intimacy doesn’t need to be in the same room.
Whether you’re across the country or simply craving something soft and unproduced, virtual sessions are about being seen, as you are, wherever you are.
I’ll guide you gently through setup and angles, but the mood is the same as my film work: poetic and real.

Unfurling Sessions – documentary portraiture

Some stories can’t be told in an hour.
Unfurling is an immersive, slow-paced session for those moments in life that ask for more time—more light, more stillness, more space to breathe. Shot entirely on 35mm film, this is a day-in-the-life documentary experience, designed to feel more like being witnessed than photographed.
Whether you’re a family moving through a tender transition, a creative working on something personal, or simply someone who wants to be seen in your ordinary, radiant life—this offering gives us room to move gently and let meaning surface naturally.

interlude Sessions

Not every story asks for a full day.
Interlude Sessions are shorter, recurring offerings for moments that don’t need to unfold slowly — but still deserve to be seen. Shot entirely on 35mm film, these sessions are simple and intentional. A held breath between larger movements.

Whether you’re returning to document your family again, marking a subtle shift, or simply wanting to exist inside the frame – Interlude Sessions are a space to do that.

Most clients choose sessions in their home — it’s where life actually happens. Studio rentals, Airbnbs, and outdoor locations are all options too. We’ll find what feels right for you.

Almost everything I shoot is on 35mm film — it’s the foundation of how I see and work. The one exception is my Interlude Sessions, which are shot digitally but edited to honor the same slow, film-influenced aesthetic I bring to everything. If you’re drawn to that look and feel but want a lighter investment, Interlude might be your entry point.

Absolutely no images are shared unless I am given your explicit, written permission.

Sessions start at $500 (virtual) or $695 (in-person). Most clients invest around $2,500 when adding products.

Yes! I offer Afterpay & Affirm.

No. I’m not an IPS photographer — your fully edited images are delivered digitally as part of your session cost. No minimum orders, no sales appointments, no surprises.

I offer some guidance to catch the best light and framing – buy my sessions are very organic. I try to focus on you and how you move naturally. I don’t go to sessions with certain poses in mind.

I do offer heirloom prints, albums, and wall art as optional add-ons if you want something to hold. There’s nothing quite like a film image in print — but it’s always your call.

I’m based in Southern Maryland and regularly serve the Washington DC, Alexandria, and Annapolis areas — these are included without travel fees. For sessions beyond that, travel fees may apply, though I’m always open to going where the story takes us. I periodically announce destination availability on Instagram, or reach out and we can plan something together.
