As a Southern Maryland newborn photographer, nothing brings me greater joy than preserving these precious moments for families, freezing in time the overwhelming love and tenderness that fills the air during these sessions. I had the privilege of capturing a beautiful chapter in the life of a family welcoming their newest addition, baby Alice.

This particular newborn family photoshoot took place in a sunlit, woodland-inspired nursery adorned with delicate touches that really reflected this family’s personality.

Alice was a dream – she was calm, sleepy, and found great comfort in nursing and being surrounded by her family (including her two pups!).

As the session drew to a close, I couldn’t help but feel grateful to have been a part of this beautiful, chaotic but tender chapter in their lives.
